SueQ Travel has some Big News!

I just shared this on social, but I had to write a blog post about it because it was a process and I'm super proud! First, if you haven't heard, SueQ Travel LLC is officially a travel agency and we're accredited by IATA, which is massive! That's really huge and let me tell you, getting to this point wasn't a walk in the park. It took buckets of patience, a dash of professional help (no, not a therapist - a tax guy, believe it or not), and enough paperwork to make me question if I was starting a business or writing a novel.

Years ago, I was a travel agent for a lovely boutique agency in Wausau, WI. I was working there while also juggling 24 college credits in one semester to finish college, and writing my future husband's political science papers all at the same time (give me a break, he was from Australia and thought Harriet Tubman was a man and the Underground Railroad... was a literal railroad... underground... he needed me and I feel no guilt.) Anyways, all that said, during that time one thing became crystal clear: I had caught the travel bug, and boy, was it infectious. Whether it was clocking in hours working in the travel industry, trotting across 15 countries and counting, or whisking friends and family off on meticulously planned adventures - my love for exploring knew no bounds.

My goal is to continue to organize more small group guided trips, but I also look forward to working with individuals and families on their own personal travel experiences.
