Day 2: Immerse in the Charm of Cluses, France

• Bonjour! Welcome to your inaugural full day in the picturesque town of Cluses, France.
  You'll have the day to explore and get comfortable as this will be "home" for the next two weeks! 
   

• Exploration in Cluses:

Day 11: Relaxation Day - Stroll through Local Gardens and Parks

• Quick Drive to Taninges

  • Taninges is a 12 minute drive away from our accommodations. It's a small town and work a quick relaxing visit to walk around.

• Visit the Jardin Alpin La Jaÿsinia in Samoëns

  • Arranged as “Outstanding Garden of France”, the Alpine Botanical Garden Jaÿsinia, with its 2400 species of plants, offers a poetic walk through the alpine flora and plants of the mountains of the 5 continents.

  • Designed by landscape gardener Jules Allemand, the garden winds through 3 km of paths and on its 3.7 hectares that offers a panorama of mountain plants from all over the world.

Day 12: Lauterbrunnen, Interlaken, and Bern, Switzerland

• Arrival in Lauterbrunnen:

  • Arrive in Lauterbrunnen, known for its stunning waterfalls and picturesque valley.

• Staubbach Falls:

  • Begin your exploration with a visit to Staubbach Falls, one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Europe. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surroundings.

• Lauterbrunnen Valley Walk:

  • Take a leisurely walk through the enchanting Lauterbrunnen Valley, surrounded by towering cliffs and waterfalls.​

• Pack and Organize:

  • Return to your accommodation and start the packing process. Organize your belongings, ensuring everything is accounted for.

• Souvenir Shopping:

  • If time permits, engage in some last-minute souvenir shopping. Pick up mementos to remember your journey.

• Write Postcards or Journal:

  • Sit down to write postcards to friends and family or journal about your travel experiences. Documenting your thoughts can be a cherished keepsake.

• Dinner Together & Farewell Gathering

  • We'll choose a restaurant that serves local fare and enjoy a delightful dinner as a final culinary experience.

  • We'll take this time to gather together, share stories, and reflect on our collective experiences.

Day 15: Bid Farewell - Until Next Time

• Departure to Lyon Airport:

  • Head to the Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS) for your departure. 

• Goodbyes and Departures:

  • Say farewell to fellow travelers and take off on your respective journeys.
     

Please note that all meals (other than breakfasts at our accommodations) and optional explorations are at your financial responsibility.

Accommodations: 

We'll be staying in a beautiful 3 bedroom home during our stay. Each person will have their own bed, but some may have to share a room. 

 

 

 

 

There are three bedrooms with the following sleeping accommodations: 
Bedroom 1:  One Queen Bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen Bed
Bedroom 3: One Single Bed, and a Bunk Bed

Our Ride: 

We'll be sporting a Peugeot 5008 7-seater which will give us plenty of room to spread out as we drive long distances!

FAQs: 
1. When should I book my flights?

• After you've been confirmed by SueQ Travel that you have a spot on the trip and the trip is a GO, you will work with SueQ Travel to find the flights that will get you into the destination airport at the right time. SueQ Travel can assist you in booking tickets if you need help. 
   

2. Are there baggage restrictions?

• Because of the size of the vehicle to transport travelers, smaller luggage is required. Medium bags (approx. 24-25" tall) are the largest we can transport. We suggest traveling as light as possible. The accommodations include a washer and dryer, so a carry-on could suffice. It will be cooler, so a jacket is highly recommended.
