Itinerary
Ireland Adventure: Ring of Kerry, Dingle, & Doolin
Day 1: Travel Day
Today, we take off on our journey to Ireland! Board your flight from the US and get ready for an adventure filled with breathtaking landscapes, charming towns, and authentic Irish experiences.
Day 2: Arrival in Shannon
Welcome to Ireland! Upon arrival in Shannon, your tour guide will meet you at the airport. After a warm welcome, we’ll head to our accommodations nearby. After some rest, we’ll enjoy a relaxed afternoon exploring the charming village of Adare, known for its thatched cottages and cozy atmosphere. Enjoy a hearty Irish meal and get settled for a good night’s sleep after your travels.
Day 3: Shannon to Killarney
We begin our exploration by driving to Killarney, the gateway to the Ring of Kerry. Once in Killarney, explore Killarney National Park, including Muckross House and Gardens, and take in the tranquil views of Muckross Lake. In the evening, experience the lively atmosphere of Killarney’s pubs with traditional music and warm hospitality.
Day 4: The Ring of Kerry
Today is dedicated to one of Ireland’s most famous scenic routes—the Ring of Kerry. We’ll drive the loop, taking in breathtaking views of rugged coastlines, charming villages, and rolling green hills. Highlights include stops at the Kerry Cliffs, Rossbeigh Beach, and the picturesque town of Sneem. We’ll also drive through the iconic Gap of Dunloe before returning to Killarney for the night.
Day 5: Killarney to Dingle
Our journey continues to the vibrant town of Dingle, famous for its colorful streets and friendly atmosphere. On the way, we’ll take the scenic Slea Head Drive, which offers stunning coastal views, ancient ruins, and panoramic vistas of the Blasket Islands. In Dingle, enjoy fresh seafood at one of the harbor restaurants and perhaps catch a traditional music session in one of the lively pubs.
Day 6: Explore Dingle Peninsula
Spend the day fully immersing yourself in the beauty of the Dingle Peninsula. Take a boat trip out to see Fungie, the famous resident dolphin, or visit the Dingle Distillery for a taste of local whiskey. Drive out to the charming village of Ballyferriter, visit the beehive huts, or simply soak in the stunning landscapes that define this unique part of Ireland.
Day 7: Dingle to Doolin
Today, we head north to Doolin, the gateway to the Cliffs of Moher and the heart of Ireland’s traditional music scene. On the way, we’ll stop at the beautiful Inch Beach, then continue along the Wild Atlantic Way to arrive in Doolin. In the evening, enjoy some lively music at one of the town’s famous pubs.
Day 8: Cliffs of Moher & The Burren
Start the day with a visit to the iconic Cliffs of Moher, where you’ll experience some of the most dramatic coastal views in all of Ireland. Afterward, explore the unique limestone landscapes of The Burren, home to rare flora and ancient archaeological sites like Poulnabrone Dolmen. The evening is yours to relax back in Doolin with more music and good food.
Day 9: Departure from Shannon
Our Irish adventure wraps up today. After breakfast, your tour guide will drive you back to Shannon Airport. Reflect on the wonderful experiences we’ve had as you board your flight home, carrying memories of Ireland’s magic and beauty.

This tour is an intimate experience limited to a maximum of 3 travelers, including your tour guide, for a total group size of 4 people.
Travel Documents
Ensure you have a valid passport. Most countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months after your return date and have at least two consecutive blank pages. US citizens do not require a visa for short stays in Ireland. Detailed information on travel requirements will be provided after final payment.
Air Travel Arrangements
Travelers are responsible for booking their own flights once the trip is confirmed and they receive notification from SueQ Travel. Assistance with flight bookings is available if needed.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the tour cost. It is your responsibility to choose the amount and type of coverage needed to recoup your travel investment in case of cancellation, inability to complete the tour, or operational issues. Refer to SueQ Travel Terms & Conditions for details on payment procedures if the tour cannot operate. SueQ Travel is not licensed to sell travel insurance. Highly recommended providers include Allianz Travel Insurance and TravelGuard.
Luggage Guidelines
Travel lightly, as most travelers regret overpacking. You may bring one medium-sized luggage plus one personal item (i.e., backpack or purse). All airlines enforce their own baggage policies. You are responsible for any baggage fees. Be prepared to handle your own luggage everywhere you go. Our main source of transportation will be by car, so you will need to manage your luggage at various stops. There is limited space in the accommodation for large loads of luggage.
Fitness
Suitable for travelers who enjoy moderate physical activities. This tour involves regular walking, possibly including some uneven terrain or stairs. Approx. Walking Distance: 2-4 miles per day. Examples: Walking tours, visits to multiple attractions, short hikes.
Health Standards
Ireland has excellent health and hygiene standards. No specific vaccinations are required, but ensure routine vaccinations are up-to-date.
Staying Connected
Your tour guide will have a portable WiFi that you'll be able to use when near your guide. If you would like service away from your guide, contact your cell phone provider about international plans, as most carriers offer flat daily rates. Manage data usage by using WiFi and communication apps like WhatsApp. Learn how to make international calls before you leave.
Adapters and Voltage
Purchase a universal adapter that supports various sockets/plugs. Verify your electronic devices' voltage requirements, as Ireland operates on 230V. Most modern electronics are multi-voltage; consult your owner's manual for details.
Cash and Cards
Budget for travel, meals, snacks, drinks, shopping, and tips. Carry some cash for splitting bills and smaller purchases. Notify your credit card issuer about your travel dates. Use ATMs for cash, but be cautious as foreign countries may limit daily withdrawals. Know your PIN for both debit and credit cards. Credit cards are widely accepted, but be aware of foreign transaction fees. Choose local currency for transactions to avoid conversion fees.
Currency
Ireland uses the Euro (EUR).
Tipping
You are responsible for tipping waitstaff, porters, or other service providers at hotels or public locations. Tipping is not mandatory in Ireland, but a tip of around 5-10% for exceptional service is appreciated. Consider tipping your SueQ Travel tour guide $8-$10 per day for outstanding service, but this is entirely a personal preference.
Payment Information:
25% down payment due at the time of booking
Final payment due 90 days before travel.
Monthly payments can be set up.
If you have signed up for the trip and it is confirmed (meaning, we have the minimum number of travelers to go), you will be responsible for the entire tour amount even if you cancel.
This is part of the reason why travel insurance is so highly recommended!
